Oh best laid plans...
I found out its a boy on Weds and kept it quiet so I could reveal it via Charlie's birthday cake today (his 6th bday). I made a blue cake and frosted it with chocolate frosting. After we sang happy birthday, I told them it was a special cake and inside it would tell them if they were having a baby sister (pink) or a baby brother. Well, I didn't think about the fact that my husband is color blind so their reactions were as follows:
Husband: Huh, green? What does green mean?
Logan(4): Green means poison ivy, don't touch it
Charlie: Wait, its blue. But where is the pink?
No one got it. At least I got all these shenanigans on video....
