Late night

Thought I'd get this started...

So, it's 11:35 and DD just woke 15min ago for her first feeding, which is a huge deal for us! We've been working on drowsy but awake, self soothing type of stuff and it's finally paying off. Hoping she doesn't wake again until at least 3...because again, that would be a huge improvement.

And now I can't sleep because I'm thinking about cloth diapers, haha.

Also, she is suuuuuper squirmy. I hadn't realized this because when she was in our room, she slept in her swing, then we transitioned to the crib in her room, so I never really saw her sleep on her back. Well, I've been observing her for about two hours and boy does she wriggle. She doesn't go anywhere but there's a lot of leg thwacking and squirming...it's not waking her, but is this normal?

Eta: I'm observing her because until she only wakes once or twice a night she'll sleep in our room when the SKs are here since she shares with SD.

    Im hanging out with my DH, he got home from work just a little bit ago. And will leave for work at 4am. Can't wait for him to have a few days Off. Hope your DD stays down for you! My DD went down at 830 and I'm hoping she stays asleep, usually does till 6 or 7am. But I'm scared that 4month wakefulness is going to start soon. She'll be 4months tomorrow, she was 2 days late.

    Where to start...
    Amelia has been cranky aaaaaalllllll day long! Non_stop crying, she hasn't done this in a very long time! 11pm, I was feeding her in my room annnnd BAM I see a bat in her room, DH was in the shower and as the bat flies into my room... I cover Amelia and yell at my husband there is a bat! she is wiped out, put her down in her crib.... asleep... just as DH and I are winding down from our terrible day he was repairing something on the house from noon to 11pm that same bat comes back with friends 2 more to be exact.... I think my husband just got them out right now... about 10 minutes ago i hear her crying... NEVER HAVE I SPRINTED SO FAST IN MY LIFE! I'm pumping right now with a crying baby in her rocker...


    Just not a good day/night

    After several good nights of sleep, DS woke up with a cough yesterday morning. When I picked him up at daycare she said he had a great day but was coughing and sneezing. UHG, I hate it when he is sick....poor guy. So he's woke himself up about every three hours by coughing. So I go him tell him it's ok and turn on his mobile and he falls asleep pretty quickly. The humidifier is in there hopefully working for him. We are going to the farmers market in the morning....it's going to be an early one!

    Oh and all I hear about on FB is how kids are coming home from their last day of school with fevers....please keep that junk out of our house!'
