Do you have an in utero nickname you call the baby yet? Did you have names for previous pregnancies?

We don't want to name this baby until it's born so once we have a confirmed heartbeat we plan to start using a nn. DH will pick something spontaneously so we don't have one... yet!

I end up calling it the same nicknames as I call my pooch; little one, little nut, bug and when it has been making me feel a bit nauseous - crapbag! Smile

Jellybean! Which has been shortened to J bean a lot

Last one we joked about calling him Hubert cuz its such a horrible name for a baby... which became bluebert, raspbert, etc based on how big he was each week

In my first u/s pic of the baby it looks like a fish. So we have been calling it "fish baby", "guppy" and "Nemo". I hope that it looks more human at the 12 week u/s. I wonder if it is because I continued to eat sushi during pregnancy Wink

DS was just always Elijah. I had my a/s a week after getting a BFP (at 25 weeks), so we knew it was a boy right away and just called him by his name.

Mummy, only because it dint really look like a bean it looked like a mummy on the u/s! I've gotten Alien too...lol!! Once we know boy or girl we will go by chosen name!

My last one was named Ziggy. DH started that after I read something to him early on that said "your zygote is now...." I loved it! Now we barely talk about this LO... Just waiting to see the HB, holding our breath that all will be ok.

We've been calling it nugget! Peanut and bean were taken by friends in previous pregnancies, and I enjoyed some nuggets the day after my BFP, so seemed appropriate.

I love referring to nugget all the time: like "ugh Nugget is hungry!" and "Nugget is such a good driver!" (when I drive). And of course "Nugget wants to go to Paris!" and "Nugget was hoping to have a new car" lol lol

We've had a different in utero name for each baby. DS was The Diplomat, DD was The Apprentice, my first miscarried baby was The Astronomer Royal, my 2nd miscarried baby was The Editor, and this baby is The Professor.

DD was Little Bear so we won't be using that. So far it's been bean, or it. As in "it's been making me sick today." I don't really want to get attached to any cutesy nicknames just yet.

So you didn't know you were pregnant until 24 weeks? I bet that's making this one seem like an eternity long!

DS1 was "Nugget" or "Oggie" (short for Ogden, which DH had suggested as an actual name but I vetoed). My sister continues to call him "Nugget".

This LO is "Nibblet".

Poppy. When I found out I was pregnant, the baby was the size of a poppy seed... so it started there, but even though it's gotten bigger, Poppy still stuck.

DS was XT in utero until we found out he was a boy and then we just called him X. XT was the first letter of the boy name we had picked and the first letter of the girl name we picked. Until we know the sex of this baby, it will be CT, I guess, though we mostly just call this one the baby.

Ds we called CharSarahtops because our boy name was Charlie and girls name was Sarah.

This lo is unnamed so far. We know our girls name is Therese and boys name is Dominic so we just need to find a sweet combination name....TheDominator seems heavy on the Dominic side so we'll have to brainstorm.

I called my first blueberry, this one we call Binoo. We have a kids show here in Canada called Toopy and Binoo, and DH calls our son Toopy, so this little baby is Binoo!

My nicknames are in my siggy for my pregnancies. DS was Spock because he had to "Live long and Prospure". This one is Yoda because we needed a Star Wars name. Stick out tongue

My first was "peanut" I know that for sure. Even though he was 95% on the growth charts, I still called him peanut for the longest time out of the womb too! LOL

I would have to look in the baby books for nicknames of #2 and 3.

I've been calling this baby "the Newbie". LOL
