With my first, I probably started wearing maternity clothes around 22 weeks, and that was just because my pants were finally getting tight. I was still in regular shirts until about 26 weeks.
Far cry from my second, when I was wearing maternity shirts at 9 weeks and pants at 13 weeks.
Well, I have a short torso and am pretty thin normally. And I wear a lot of fitted tops to work. I started wearing maternity pants around 14 weeks and a mix of maternity tops/regular at the same time. I showed really early (13 weeks my coworkers could tell) so I'm scared what is going to happen this time. But I think I showed earlier than most. I did find maternity pants annoying because they didn't stay up on me (both the over the belly and under) until my bump got really big but you are already way out of regular clothes at that point.
I have at 9 weeks with both pregnancies. That is fairly early but the bloat kills me and with a Bella band I can keep the maternity pants up better than I can unbuttoned regular pants. It really depends on your frame. Some women don't switch to maternity clothes until well into the second trimester.
I know I was in maternity jeans at 20 weeks. It was the winter, so I was in a lot of dresses/leggings before then -- probably had outgrown normal jeans and pants but wasn't into full-on maternity until the 20ish-week mark.
Pants were sooner than shirts. I gave up work pants with zippers around 8 weeks and went to stretchy but not maternity pants. Those came around 12-13 weeks.

This. I switched early last time mostly for comfort, but also I showed way earlier than most (likely because I'm super short). This time around the bloat is already really bad, but I'm holding off on actual maternity clothes a little longer. But I've switched to wearing nothing but stretchy cotton skirts and yoga pants already.
Son: Jackson, 11/02/06, stillborn due to PPROM and IUGR. Over the next ten years we had 9 miscarriages from 8-14 weeks. On May 18, 2016 my daughter, Ridley, was born. We're OADNBC.
I wore my first pair of maternity pants around 18 weeks. As soon as I put them on, I wished I would've busted them out sooner! Before then, I wore a lot of jersey-knit skirts and loose-fitting dresses.
I started wearing maternity pants at 9 weeks last time and shirts around 20 weeks. This time I'm starting shirts earlier since my usual summer shirts are already a little snug
I started wearing maternity pants around 9 weeks last time and shirts maybe 12 weeks. This time pants at about 6 weeks one pair and stretchy waisted skirts. Shirts in a few weeks.
I think I lasted until 67 months for shirts and pants I bought some around month 4/5? Sears has a realllly inexpensive maternity section that's often on sale btw:
Around 13 weeks. I already have pulled out my maternity shorts and capris. I SAH so I can just wear yoga pants but when I go out I've done a mix of the bella band and maternity shorts. This time around the band just doesn't seem to hold up my pants like they should. I'll probably forgo that soon. Last time when I was pregnant, I didn't buy any maternity work clothes and quit around 17 weeks.
With DS I didn't have to wear Mat Clothes until much later ... I was still wearing regular yoga pants at the anatomy scan ... my mom gave me mat clothes for xmas ... and DS was born mid-March ... but with the second, apparently you start showing much sooner ... but even in the summer I wore a lot of maxi dresses etc!!!
With my first I needed them at about 12ish weeks but with my second I was about 24 weeks before I fully moved into mat clothes. It was just the difference in the way I grew and gained. This time I'm already tighter in my pants, but still have plenty of room before I'll need to move to mat clothes.

I was a nanny before DS so I stayed mostly in regular yoga pants for a majority of the pregnancy. I think I moved to maternity pants around 2930 weeks? Maternity tops, I started wearing around 1617 weeks.
With my first I was in maternity clothes at 7 months or so. With my second I was in maternity clothes right at 3 or 4 months. I am hoping I can wait until then for this one as well. It's not looking too well....
For me it depended on the pregnancy. My first I didn't wear maternity until after 20 weeks, my second I was in full maternity about 3 days after I got bfp due to bloat and nausea. Maternity pant relieved a lot of pressure on my stomach. This pregnancy I've been wearing both maternity and non maternity, but I think my yoga pants are going to be my go to for awhile.
I was in maternity pants by 12-14 weeks. The hairband was driving me crazy and my mom and I were out to dinner at a mall and my hitching up my pants was driving her crazy so she bought me 2 pairs. I never looked back.
I finally gave in at about 22 weeks last time. My pants were a little big on me to begin with because I had lost some weight. I'll probably wear them sooner this go around bc my regular pants are getting tight. We shall see. It will be interesting to get to wear pregnancy shorts bc I didn't get to last time. I'm prepared. I just bought some oversized shirts at kohls for the summer..$7 and $10. This is definitely the way to go and a lot cheaper. There's really no way around the pants unless you can wear yoga pants 24/7 I guess.
Pants were sooner than shirts. I gave up work pants with zippers around 8 weeks and went to stretchy but not maternity pants. Those came around 12-13 weeks.
This for me also. Tops were much later since I was pregnant for winter and sweaters are stretchy lol But I was in maternity uniform pants (active duty AF) by 10 weeks. Those bad boys killed me lol Stupid button fly!
I was about 15-16 weeks with DS when I started wearing maternity pants all the time. I'd occasionally throw a pair on before that when the bloat was bad. This time I already busted them out because I look about 4 months pregnant with my bloat.
Shirts were different for me. I pretty much wore regular shirts all through my pregnancy, but DS was small and so was my bump. If I needed a bigger shirt, I usually just bought up a size in regular clothing.
With my first around 9 weeks. I am only 4'11" though with a short torso (well, I guess at 4'11" EVERYTHING is short). With my second I was never out of maternity clothes.

Last time I started wearing shirts about 13-14 weeks and pants about 14-15 weeks.
This time around I am guessing a lot earlier!!! The bloat is making me look pregnant all ready.

1st time around - not until 16-17 weeks.
2nd time - 9 weeks-ish. I probably didn't truly need them at that point, but I was more comfortable in them. I had an obvious bump by 14 weeks.
