I never thought after having 3 vaginal deliveries I would end up needing a c-section with my 4th baby. So went to L&D since daughter decrease the movement found out that she turned and is breech now. Also my atomic fluid is low its at 6.5 and 5 its at risk.
Thursday I need to go to dr.appt so they can do an ultrasound to see if the fluid increase or decrease and also if shes still breech. If she is they will schedule me for a c-section by next week since Tuesday I will be 39 wks.
Any advice this is my first C-section and nervous!!!!!!!
Re: Never did I think..??
First, take a deep breath.
Second, make sure now that you will have plenty of help at home, especially with three other children around. The first week or two after a c/s can be painful and you will appreciate all the help you can get. Also, both at home and in the hospital, take the pain meds you are offered. I know some people don't like the drugged feeling, especially at home with a newborn, but this is major surgery and if you have help, take your meds, relax, and let your body recover.
I second the pain meds, take them around the clock, don't let the pain creep up on you. Walk as much as you can, especially when those pain meds are working. Take it slow, don't do too much too fast.
Overall my c/s wasn't that bad. Walking for the few days hurts but it gets easier. Make sure you have help for at least the first few days home and listen to your body. Even when you finally feel like you're good to do normal things, remember it takes a good 8 weeks to heal so don't overdo it.
Good luck!

Thank you all for responding I am a little nervous only because this has changed my birth plan which I know it happen's and I believe GOD does things for a reason so if this is what's best then I will be okay.
Plus having a schedule C-section is ok because you atleast know when baby is coming and its not a waiting game anymore!!!!!
