Using Bump language every day

I feel like this has been discussed before, but do you guys ever find yourself using TB language with people not on the bump?

I was just writing an email to the mother of a girl who's coming over for a playdate with my ODS this Saturday.  I was trying to tell her not to ring the doorbell because my DD will be napping when she comes over and literally wrote "my LO will be napping, so please just knock when you get here!!"  It wasn't until I reread the email that I caught it!  She's going to think I'm absolutely crazy and have no idea what I meant by LO!!!  Ugh!

I always say DD or DH and no one knows what I'm talking about.

Ditto!  I use LO in real life too...DH thinks I'm nuts.  I also stutter over saying "bump friends" as opposed to "friends" when I refer to you ladies.  I've decided to just say "friends" from now on!

I don't use the acronyms but I use the terms. I can't think of anything right now but I have definitely done it and wondered if the person would know what I meant or if they just thought I was being a smarty-pants.
