Last batch of diapers and prepping!

I just received my last batch of diapers and want to know if they can all get washed and prepped together!
12 NB size GMD prefolds
2 BG 4.0
2 bummis NB covers that are used
I know the GMD says I have to wash 3 times? Is that right? I just don't want to waste washes if I don't have to.

    You can't wash the prefolds with the other dipes when prepping. If you want to save time boil the prefolds for 30 min. then do one wash and you're done. you can prepp your other dipes with regular laundry so you have a full load.

    You'll know the prefolds are ready for use when they're fluffier and quilted. Also, when you drizzle some water on the prefolds, it absorbs immediately.
