If DD could talk!! So they last few days we've had some bad crying sessions. 30 min of inconsolable crying

There has been a change in her BF habits towards the end and I suspected they were linked, so called the LC today. Basically said baby needs to suck at the end for comfort, but not nurse anymore and to intro a paci...

I've been trying to do this for a week now, and our best tries had maybe 10 sucks at most. She said to keep trying.

Well, did nothing different today and all of a sudden she's sitting here sucking away!! If she wasn't so cute I might be a little upset. It's like because the nurse said so, she'll do it now :p

    Little ones love to do this!  They love to prove you wrong and make you look silly every chance they get, haha!  I'm glad she finally took to a paci, E never would and there have been many times MH has really wished her "mute button" worked.

    A only likes the Soo.thie paci which is the one they give in the hospital.  I have tried regular paci's and he spits them out and cries.  Hope she's found her fav and continues to suck.

    I'm glad you found something that worked! I noticed when DD was little, after about 3 weeks she started to have crying periods just.. because. Like that whole "PURPLE" crying thing. Sometimes they just... cry haha. I'm glad she took the paci though. E has always been a paci baby. We have wubbanubs, which is the soothie attached to a stuffed animal. They're like her best friends. If she drops them out of the crib she cries until we bring them to her. They provide so much comfort in a little tiny buddy.
