Nurseries and Baby Gear

Need Nursery Inspiration

Hello everyone! My husband and I are (unexpectedly) expecting our third. We have two boys already, Nathanael (2) and Vincent (10 months). We've been team green in the past and will be again. Since we only have three bedrooms, the boys are going to get moved in together and Vincent's (very lack-luster) nursery is going to become the new baby's nursery. I already have a white crib and a white dresser/changing table, but I don't have coordinating nursery bedding, etc, and this pregnancy has inspired me to decorate. I'm looking for creative inspiration for themes, decor, products you'd recommend for my new room! We rent, so we won't be changing the floor or painting (hardwood and grey), so I'm thinking yellow? Opinions? Ideas? Hit me! Thanks in advance.

Grey and yellow would work well, and be gender neutral. You could always add pops of pink or turquoise after baby gets here if you want a bit more color. The white crib, etc would work well with that too. I've seen grey and yellow chevron nurseries all over, as well as grey with primary colors (red, yellow, blue). Happy decorating!

This is pretty much what I was goingto suggest too! Chevron and polka dot wall art that you could DIY very easily with some cheap canvases. And also, giraffes or elephants would be very cute, all gender neutral!

I'm loving chevron (or "Charlie Brown" print as my hubs would say) recently. Check out Pinterest - that is where I got my nursery inspiration! :)
  • If you aren't already on Pintrest I suggest getting on there for inspiration or you could try going through a Google image search.  For grey walls and white furniture I also think that an aqua color might look good too!
