I wanted to respond to your below post, but didn't want it to get lost in the shuffle...
I had the SAME thing happen to me around 11 weeks. It was a damn lot of blood that came out in a gush. It scares the
crap out of a person! I ended up with a small tear in my placenta which
was monitored closely while I was on pelvic rest... and I just found our yesterday that it finally
closed up.
The best piece of advice is to take it easy, do everything that they say, and try your very best not to freak out (easier said than done). The reassuring thing is that this happens more often than you would think; it's just something that people don't discuss. Since it happened to me, you're the third person I've heard of it happening to.
Other than mental stress, there have been no other negative effects of that incident.
Good Luck!

Hi Mama!!
What's the good word, sexy lady??
I would tackle, but you know... the knee and all.
I'm out of work until the beginning of next year. BLA!
I'll call you during the week!
Thank you so much for the reassurance!! ?
I've been reading so much about bleeding in early pregnancy & the causes & I think I feel a bit better about it. ?I've been wearing a pad all day just in case & haven't seen any blood at all unless I wipe after going to the bathroom. ?And even then it's not much at all & it's a brownish red now. ?I've had no cramping at all so I'm hoping the strong heartbeat we saw last night means everything is well!
