Ugh. I called in to get my Femara Rx renewed and nurse told me RE said my lining was too thin last cycle. He wants me to sit out a cycle and come speak to him on June 12 to figure out WTF the next steps are.
I will ask him then about injects and since I know nothing about them yet, I guess I could use some advice if you guys have any.
DH is supportive but he doesn't see why I'm so upset about losing a cycle. I know it's not the end of the world, but I'm more upset because I wasn't expecting this at all.
Plus, nurse and I got to talking about the WTF appt openings and she couldn't get me in for almost two weeks because they're so busy. So even if we had wanted to do an IUI we wouldn't have been able to get an appointment in time for mid cycle scan.

January 10, 2013: Lap removed paratubal cyst and Stage 2 Endometriosis.
3 cycles of Femara + TI = BFNs
June 2013: Femara 2.5 mg, Gonal F Injects 37.5 IU, Menopur, trigger + IUI = BFN
July 2013: Femara 2.5 mg, Gonal F Injects 75 IU, Menopur, trigger + IUI = BFP!!!!
Beta 1 @ 11 DPIUI = 76. Progesterone = 27.3

Tests: TSH (normal), Prolactin (normal), SA (abnormal)
Hysteroscopy (normal) and PCOS labs (negative/normal) 1/15/2013
2/1/13- HPT BFP but Beta Hcg was negative
Plan: Femara + Trigger + IUI in April if no real BFP before then Bloggy Blog!

3 endometrial biopsies all were "out of phase"
September - December, 2013: Break to lose weight and get healthy
40 lb weight loss but still not ovulating "in phase"

Can you ask about Vivelle (sp?) patches? I was on those when I was on Clomid and my lining was really thin.
I also PM'ed you on FB!
Round #6- 7.5mg Femara+ .5mg Dex+ 75iu Gonal-F+ hCG trigger+ IUI=BFP!!!

*Hugs* I'm sorry! I completely understand where you're coming from because the unexpected stuff hits me the hardest too. I hope the time goes by fast for you.

So sorry for the unexpected benching
Missing a cycle is never easy and my DH doesn't understand this either. Hang in there.
As far as injectables go, I am a big fan. I tried Clomid for a couple of cycles in the beginning, but I didn't respond and it made me miserable with both physical and emotional side effects. With injectables I feel more level headed, which is amazing while going through this process. I also love them because I respond to them so much better than Clomid. They are also able to adjust the dosages based on your follicle growth throughout your cycle where they cannot do this with Clomid.
