In maternity pants, waaaaa!

Seriously the bloat has gotten so bad I can't wear regular pants, even yoga pants are tight and uncomfortable. Embarrassed

I'm super embaressed to be wearing them this early but what can I do? Other than sit around pantless I guess. Could be awkward at restaurants and such.

    I say do what you need to do to be comfortable. No point in being miserable, or in jail because your pants less. ;)

    No worries...I switched over early too, it was just so nice to be comfortable!  I'm not sure how quickly I'll go back to my regular pants, after having elastic all of these months I wonder why we even bother with buttons and zippers?!?

    maternity pants are among the best inventions ever. roll with it.

    I was in them by 10 weeks because of the bloat.  Due to a previous surgery and implant in my hip, I can't use the bella bands without a lot of discomfort.  I did the rubberband thing for weeks 6-9, but by 10 weeks it wasn't cutting it.

    TTC started Oct '10
    Me: AMA w/RSD, atypical PCOS w/IR, LPD and High Prolactin. Controlled HP post-loss.
    DH: Low-T and borderline morph
    18 cycles, 3 medicated w/RE to get to a BFP!
    EDD 9/7/12, Saw HB @7w3d,missed m/c 1/30 @8w3d, d&c 2/8
    11 AL cycles, 9 medicated/IUI cycles. All BFFN!
    Moving forward with IVF
    BFP#2 our little cycle break surprise on AL cycle 12! EDD 10/27/13
    Beta #1: 41 Beta #2: 398; perfect u/s 3/11 hb @133bpm
    u/s 3/25 one perfect hb @183 bpm, adjusted EDD 10/23/13
    MaterniT21 and carrier screens normal. It's a girl!!!
    Severe Pre-E, HFpEF, PE, AMA & IF= OAD

    Well if it makes you feel better I'm only 5 weeks and the bloat has already taken over for me as well... I feel like a whale. I didn't even try and put on my jeans this morning I went straight for my yoga pants.

    I hate buttons and zippers. they are fine when you are standing or walking around but sitting is so uncomfortable!! I love my maternity work pants already!

    I finally broke down and bought a Bella band last night. I thought I died and went to heaven! I can only imagine how comfy the real deal is.

    Side note, I work from home. About once a month I have what DH refers to as a no pants workday, and they're heavenly. They used to happen more often, but scrambling for pants when the FedEx guy uunexpectedly knocks is not fun.

    Cute sundresses if the weather is right.  I own one sundress and it has been worn many times in the past couple of weeks because nothing else is comfortable.

    I switched over to maternity jeans at 9 weeks with DD.  Nothing beats comfort!  I say rock those maternity pants.... or no pants, whatever you prefer :lol:

    Dude, embrace the stretchy waistband pants. They are glorious. I've been wearing them since barely 6w thanks to IVF bloat. Embarrassed

    I was in them full time at 8wks.  It was bloat, but bloat because of baby so I think it counts.  Plus I do Pedicures from a tiny stool bent over.  Those buttons were killing me.

    Rock what is comfortable.

    I've been wearing maternity pants for a couple weeks now. Not because I need them but because I had them already from my last pregnancy and they are so comfy!!
