Ugh M/S Why today?!?!?!?!

This has got to be one of the busiest days for me at work, as we are preparing for an annual consumer show ... and as if it weren't bad enough that I had to work tomorrow and be on my feet all day, but today our prep day ... m/s has kicked it into high gear going from a constant nausea ... to a constant tossing of the cookies ...

What are you snacking foods to help it pass?? Lifesavers?

Re: Ugh M/S Why today?!?!?!?!

  • Swedish fish gummy candies and cinnamon gum seems to calm my stomach more than anything.  I know a lot of people recommend Jolly Ranchers but I haven't tried that yet.

  • Sour Jolly ranchers (or the lemon kind) and eating a little bit constantly. Crackers, nuts, dry cereal, dried fruit...anything you can stomach. Sip water slowly. Gingerale was always too sweet for me last time.

I'm sorry you have such a busy day when you're feeling gross.

  • Plain crackers or what I'm doing now is munching on Stacy's multi-grain pita chips. It kind of helps me

  • Sour Patch kids help in the moment, but I inevitably throw them up about a 1/2 hour after eating them.  I think they are too sour for my stomach.

My midwife told me to take a 1/2 unisom tablet in the morning, 1/2 at lunch, and a full tablet before bed. That and vitamin B6.  They seem to be helping quite a bit.
