As a few suspected my intense abdominal pain/discomfort appears to have related to a cyst in my left ovary. The RE said it appears to be gone at this point and I'm feeling mostly human today.

I guess the question is, do we attempt one more cycle of clomid after this happened on our break cycle? Any input would be appreciated!

Me: 33, DH: 39   Unexplained Infertility

4 IUIs (chlomid) in 2013 which resulted in DS born in April 2014

TTC #2 since August 2015

5 rounds of IUIs (1 chlomid: resistent, 1 femara, 3 gonal f) = all BFN

ER March 9: 26 eggs retrieved, 19 mature and 17 fertilized, 8 made it to genetic testing, 4 normal!

FET #1 5/31 = BFN

FET#2 7/26 = BFP!

    I am so sorry you had a cyst but I am glad it looks like it is gone now and you feel better! I have no input as to whether you should try Clomid again. GL!

    Problem: Irregular menstruation, unexplained
    Nov&Dec-Provera because of no period after 35+ days
    First RE appt 1/10/2013
    Tests: TSH (normal), Prolactin (normal), SA (abnormal)
    Hysteroscopy (normal) and PCOS labs (negative/normal) 1/15/2013
    2/1/13- HPT BFP but Beta Hcg was negative
    Plan: Femara + Trigger + IUI in April if no real BFP before then Bloggy Blog!

    Yikes, sorry about the cyst and I'm glad you're starting to feel better. What are your RE's thoughts of another clomid cycle?

    Dx: Poor Embryo Quality, Arcuate Uterus, Poor Uterine Blood Flow, Mild Endo, 
           Protein S Deficiency, Sjorgen's Syndrome 

    IUI #1-5: BFN
    Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy: minimal endo, partial septoplasty
    IVF #1: 10R/6M/6F ~ Day 3 ET = BFN
    IVF #2: 14R/9M/5F ~ transfer canceled ~ all embryos arrested at 1-2 cell stage
    IVF #3: 9R/5M/5F ~ 1 frosty!
    IVF #4 (FET #1): BFN

    IVF #5 (DE IVF #1 with Dr. KK protocol): Currently PREGNANT!!!!!!
    Synthroid + Prednisone + Metformin + Baby Aspirin + Supplements Galore = 15+ pills a day
    Lupron + Lovenox + Delestrogen + IVIG + B/W = 2-5 pokes a day
    19R, 17M, 17F - transferred two Grade A blasts 11/16, four frosties!!!
    Beta #1 11/24 (13dpo/8dp5dt) = 367 ~ Beta #2 11/26 (15dpo/10dp5dt) = 709
    Beta #3 11/29 (18dpo/13dp5dt) = 1,997 ~ Beta #4 12/1 (20dpo/15dp5dt) = 3,403

    The original plan was to give one more try with the clomid+trigger+iui, but we haven't discussed since this all happened. We also hadn't discussed anything beyond the next clomid cycle, but I think he was hinting at injects.

    So glad to hear you are feeling better and glad that it wasn't something more serious.

    My cyst was actually before I started on Clomid so I'm not sure what the protocol is although we were not benched because of it.

    Clomid is what got me pregnant the first time however, I tried taking it this time around and had zero response. It caused many cysts to grow and a lot of side effects. I have since moved on to injectibles which have been working much better and have almost no side effects. Have you spoken to your RE??
