Insomnia

Anyone else up? Not sleeping is lame! I don't even feel bad or uncomfortable, just can't get back to sleep.

Re: Insomnia

  • Same here. I feel like I lay here for hours before giving up and getting out of bed.

  • I am awake....like normal. I can go to bed, kinda fall asleep for an hour or so, then wide awake. It doesn't help the fact my legs are SO DAMN antsy these days. I feel like I have restless leg syndrome! So that doesn't help. Neither does my cat having a complete nutsy attack. Or the bf snoring and hogging the bed! I have maybe gotten 6 hours of sleep the past 3 days. Boo!

  • Thankfully it's not every night. I'm an oddball an movies don't work for me, I get too invested and end up being more awake. Same with TV shows which is why DH and I will never have a tv in our room. It puts him right to sleep but I'd stay up for hours watching dumb stuff.

  • I've def suffered from insomnia this time around. I'm up tonight but because I'm laboring and my epi has made me super itchy. And i have my middle of the night nausea yippee. At least the hubs is catching some needed Zs. I learned the hard way last time around to make sure you get rest before going into labor! The crazy hospital disharged me with a newborn and I hadn't slept in 4 days, smiley.
  • I have been running low on sleep as well. I had two naps today, went to bed early and now I'm wide awake at 2 am again...
TTC since 2004, Ectopic 2005, lost right tube. Multiple miscarriages. Baby girl born June 2013.
  • It's 10:30am here, but I slept from 2-5 and then waved the white flag and got up and cleaned.

Thankfully, DD is at daycare, so I am going to eat breakfast and go back to bed.

  • I get about 3 hours a night in total between bathroom runs, back pain, and cramps. So no sleep here too
  • Yes, yes and yes. It's every night. I'm more than over it.
  • I got about six hours thanks to the Benadryl. Now it's time for Cheerios and then hopefully a couple more hours.

  • Now I feel like I should stay up until my husband's alarm goes off so it doesn't wake me up.

    And I'm still hungry.

  • I'm suffering too, I can't turn my mind off it takes hours to fall asleep and I'm not even uncomfortable. Then I'm starving in the middle of the night along with pee breaks. So not like me I used to sleep in till almost noon on days off ha

Glad to hear I'm not the only one with constant pee breaks during the night.  Last night I fell asleep on the couch at 9:30, then went up to bed around 10:00.  I was up at midnight, 1:30, 3:30, and 5:30 to pee!!  And every pee break requires me to do this rolling-launch maneuver to get out of bed, since I'm enormous and we have a memory foam mattress that I sink into.  If my mom wasn't coming over to go to Ikea and help with housework today, I'd totally be napping it up.

I was up all night long.  I may have gotten 2 hours of sleep.  But I have HORRIBLE poison ivy that was itching like crazy, despite the medication I have.  I am trying to get an appointment with a doctor today- hoping I can take the steriods while pg.  Fingers crossed.

Right there with you! After a total of maybe 4 hours last night I fed DD breakfast this morning and now I'm back in bed while she plays and watches cartoons. We had a busy day yesterday and fun plans for tomorrow so I don't feel too bad about a lazy day in between
