My husband will have a diaper shower at the same time as my baby shower and I am wanting to do some custom made koozies for the guest to take home. Can anyone help me with creative wording for the koozie? I am at a loss for words. Thank you in advance!
Any party where you charge admission, even in the form of diapers, is tacky.
And if I got a diaper party koozie as a souvenir, it would go right in the trash. I don't need or want koozies at all, even less so when they're reminders of a diaper party.
Save yourself the time and expense and just throw your DH a party. No gifts mentioned, no baby mentioned, and no diaper koozies.
I don't have any particular wording for koozie but I like them too. It's sad when you go to this website to ask for help and get criticized in return. The OP is asking for an idea for a creative wording not an opinion whether she should or should not throw a diaper shower. I think it would be best if replies would have something to do with the help that is needed. Tacky or not, it is their shower with their friends. She isn't asking if it's proper to have one or not. But then again, you really can't help people if they wanna ruin your vibe. I respect the phrase "to each their own".So this is what I think about the post and that is what you think is good as a favor for your hubby's diaper shower. And some people think it's tacky and stupid. To each their own. I would just google or research on the internet about creative wording for the koozie if you can't find someone in here to help you out. I would personally want to help but I can't think of any at this time. Just wanna send you some positive reinforcement and good luck with your baby/diaper shower! Have some lots of fun!

I just did. I suggested that she can google it or research on the internet if she can't find any specific wording. I wish I could help more but since I couldn't provide any specific wording, I just gave her suggestion. I dunno where did you get that idea that I am criticizing everyone else's response. I did not call out anyone's name but merely stating that I am supporting what will make the OP happy. Like what I said, to each their own.

I really appreciate your reply. Unfortunately I have looked into google wording and really cant anything and came here for some creative thinking.
I think it is pretty unfortunate that when I come on this board to get a little creative juices flowing, I, instead get negative feedback. I didn't ask if you liked the idea. If you didn't have wording you simply didn't need to respond.

OP, you had one person post in support of your idea. The rest of us were honest, and while it might hurt, you should take that input to mean that maybe your idea isn't a great one.
Family full of beer drinkers over here so everyone LOVES getting koozies. Don't know what to put on them though. IMO it depends on your circle of friends. And during crawfish season EVERYONE of age is drinking beer with their crawfish, so koozies help identify our drinks.
Thank you! My family would APPRECIATE the koozies! We have many gatherings that go along with beer!
I love koozies, and love getting them as favors.
Not sure I would love one with a saying about diapers, though.
Maybe just put the date with a pic of baby footprints or something else baby related?
Thank you, I wasn't going to put anything about diapers, but maybe about the baby. Like "Happy Hours newest addition" something like that.
Maybe I am in idgit...but what in sam h3ll is a koozie?
It is those foam/neoprene holders for beer to keep it cool/insulated. I think it is a regional thing. I went to college down south and they are SUPER popular but I am originally from New England and live here now and I very rarely see people use them.
Oh! Yes, you might be right about regional popularity. I just drink my beer quickly so it doesn't have a chance to not be cold.

Can I just add... forget the part where you are doing a diaper shower (cringe) or giving away koozies (blech)... Are you actually HOSTING the diaper shower for your H? Because... that's the biggest problem I've got. It's a gift giving event. You should NOT be hosting it.
My mother in law is hosting it... but I was helping her with favors.

ugh, one of these people. STFU.
PPs, I know a lot of you have no interest in koozies, but she is giving them to men, not women. They seem to be more of a guy thing. OP, if you think the party guests would like them, then by all means, you should make them. I don't know much about how to word them, but if you can't come up with anything you could always just put "(husband's name)'s Diaper Shower"and the date. Or something along those lines.

Exactly. If someone posted about naming their child Doodyhead or something and asked opinions on the spelling, it would be nicer to discourage them from going through with a bad idea than say "to each their own" and suggest a spelling.

I know plenty of guys and none of them use koozies.
I loathe "it's a guy thing" or "it's a girl's night!" reasoning. Maybe - just maybe - not everyone is into koozies and it has nothing to do with their anatomy.
LOL. Maybe-just maybe-you are looking for something, anything, to argue about.
I don't have any ideas for you. But I just wanted to say that I have heard that those diaper parties are a lot of fun for the guys.
Good luck Finding wording for the koozies! I think that's a good idea for favors
If you really want to give a koozie (thanks to the pp who asked what it was because I was also clueless), I would NOT put anything on it about a baby.
I would find it odd to have something to put on beer that is about babies. The two don't go together IMO.
What do you mean they don't go together?! How many babies do you think are conceived every year because of it
Hey, there's an idea, "Our little bundle of joy, brought to you by Miller Brewing Company."
This is hilarious. I would go with this if it was me, but I guess it depends on your friends and family's sense of humor. Otherwise you could just go with something like "Welcoming husbands name into Parenthood" and then the year.
My DH had a diaper party. It was a huge hit. My child is 7 months and I have only bought two things of size two diapers. I still have a bunch of 3 and 4s left. He'll have a blast I'm sure.
As for what to say I would not have anything baby related on it. I hate getting things with other peoples names/date on it (like wedding coasters). Go with a fun quote or something. Maybe a song lyric?
Oh I like the song lyric idea! Maybe an Irish drinking song quote like "Beer drinkin' don't do half the harm of love makin'." and the date of the shower?
I think the idea is fine - don't pay attention to these bitches. Hope you both enjoy your day!

While I'm not wild about the beer/babies connection, it sounds like it's something that will go over well in your area. I like the one about Daddy's Sippy Cup (or, if they're not all dads maybe Adult Sippy Cup). Or, since it's a diaper shower how about Bottom's Up!
Maybe something along the lines of Ready to Party 2034 the year the baby will be 21. Maybe include the name if you have already decided and are sharing.
LOL.
You have got to be kidding me. This thread is really full of class, eh?

I thought you were just being funny. Everyone in the south knows what a koozie is and everyone owns TONS of them.

I love the diaper shower idea, 1. men do not like to go to baby showers, 2. men can not shop for baby stuff, how about 12 onsies with born to be a hunter or something along those line, Diapers are fool proof. 3. BBQ and beer why guy is going to turn it down? The person the shower is being hosted for is not going to kick them out if the do not buy diapers. Guys like to do there thing noone wants finger foods and watch people measure mommys tummy.

I see what they are. I think my parents used them circa 1992.
