28 wks pregnant w/Zoloft

Dr just put me on Zoloft bc my anxiety is starting to kick in not too mention having bad mood swings & being irritable.  I just feel concerned but they reassured me its safe and Ok....I just have to be off it 1wk prior to my csec date.  Anyone been on while pregnant?

    I was but it didn't help much. So my docs put me back on my paxil. After the first triester the risks significantly decreas

    I was on Prozac before and during pregnancy.  Also while breastfeeding.  I know what I am like without medicine.  My LO is healthier and happier when I am taking meds.

     

    I'm curious, why are you going off of it 1 week before your c section? 

    My doctor told me that the first week of motherhood is when my mood would need the most help from medicine.

    She mentioned the baby having withdrawal effects....that's why she wants me off 1 wk prior to delivery then going right back on.
