  I am so paranoid about this! I have my 1500+ pics from my phone on my computer, and two different external hard drives (overkill, I'm sure). Do you have a smartphone? DH recently discovered snappea dot com; once you download it (free) and sync your phone to it, you can easily transfer pictures to your computer.   I use Walgreens and I have been trying to print some of my favorites remember how we all used to print our photos..lol.

  external hard drive and my husband's server.  You could always upload to an image site, like snapfish or costco.com, they keep pictures for ages and you could always at least re-order the images.
