So today is my first official day as a SAHM. I've been lurking on this board the last few weeks. The recent drama did not scare me away as I am a June 2012 mom. So here is my story... My husband and I had our first child last June. I just finished my fifth year of being a special education teacher. Since having our son last summer, we have wanted to get back home. We currently live 2 1/2 hours away from our hometown. My husband found a job that would get us back home. So at the end of June we will move back home. Both of my husband's parents have passed away so he and his brother and sister inherited the family farm. We will be moving into my husband's childhood farmhouse. I am excited to get back home and am looking forward to staying at home with DS. Yesterday was my last day of school, but we paid for daycare all week. So DS will be at daycare today and tomorrow. I am a little sad to take him out of daycare. He loves it so much. I'm excited to be able to join this board!

    How exciting to go back "home". Wow, I'd love that opportunity. We've been 2k miles away from "home" since I was pregnant with my first. Good luck with your move! :)
