Just wondering if anyone had any ideas. My DH hates condoms the diaphragm. I'm breast feeding, have had an ectopic pregnancy, have migraine headaches, and turned 35 last week.
TTC January 2010
BFP #1 10-11-10 ectopic discovered 10-22-10,
10-23-10 methotrexate & emergency surgery, lost right tube BFP #2
12-1-10 Found to be tissue dropped from salingectomy or missed heterotopic
pregnancy from BFP #1 BFP #3 1-30-11 DS arrived on due date 10-10-11 BFP
#4 Surprise 9-3-12 EDD 5-9-13 DS2 arrived 5-5-13 BFP #5 5-14-14 Emergency D&C 6-16-14 9 weeks
I was thinking I can't use Mirena or the mini pill because of my history. I could be wrong. My doctor thought the mini pill bc my remaining tube is normal I have no scarring or real known cause...but from what I've read is that it can cause ectopic pregnancy if you get pregnant.

IUD (maybe the non-drug eluting kind?) or mini pill are the best options I can think of.
BFP #1 5/2010 - Missed m/c at 8 weeks BFP #2 2/2011 Baby G welcomed with love and relief 10/2011 Surprise BFP 1/8/2013...say what? Baby A arrived 9/2013
I have a lot of issues with my lady bits being irritated by almost anything so I tried to stay away from anything that would involve messing with that area. I never was able to find a pill that worked well for me. I finally got a Nexplanon implant in my arm. It's good for 3 years and hasn't effected my ability to BF. I don't know what if anything it could do for your migraines but I just thought I would throw it out there for you to research since many women are not aware of implants.
TTC since 3/4/2010

I'm three days in with the mini pill, so far so good. Depending on the level of protection you want, Vaginal Contraception Film worked great for us for many years. It's not as effective as pills or condoms, but neither of you can feel it and it's not messy at all! Just a thought!

My friend just got this done!! I had never heard of it! She's been really happy with it so far -- she's had it for ~6 months now.. it just creeps me out that you can feel the tube in her arm, and that it moves around!! I definitely want to look into this further
