It smells kind of like sulfur or rotten eggs. How do I get the smell out? I tried running a hot wash with just borax and then vinegar in the rinse and it still smells.
Is it a front loader? I've had the same problem with mine and the only thing that's fixed it is running a load of bleach through on the clean cycle. I have to do it about every other month to keep the stink away. I'm not a big bleach person, but nothing else works for me.

Mine smelled like death a few months ago. I ran a cycle with a cup of bleach, then a cycle with a cup of vinegar, and then a cycle with nothing just to wash out any residue. All with hot, hot water. Seemed to work!

I'll have to try bleach next. I really wanted to start washing my diapers to get ready for baby girl but no way am I putting them in a funky smelling washer!

This is what I did last week, except after letting it agitate a few minutes, I let it sit for a half hour before finishing up the vinegar and bleach cycles. Seems to have worked for me! GL.

I agree with the bleach. The washer in the apartment we rented would get that same funky smell every couple months and hot cycle with bleach would clear it out.

Nope, it's a top loader.
