I know the movie isn't open yet but there is a book. Does it have a happy ending? I don't want to read the book or see the movie if the dog dies or something else bad happens. I have enough drama in my own life. Thanks:)
I cried but I also have a lab and I've been pretty emotional lately! It was a good book and I do want to see the movie, but it does follow his whole life
Even though the dog gets old and dies (as all dogs unfortunately do) it is still a feel-good book. He has a long, full, happy lifed, well-loved and cared for by his family.
I loved the book so much that I'm afraid I'll be disappointed by the movie. But I totally recommend the book!
Yes the ending is sad. However, It is the best book I have read in years. I laughed, I cried, DH even laughed out loud and that' snot something he usually does while reading. If the movie is half as good as the book it will be well worth the money paid to see it.
Well, you just have to go into knowing that dogs don't live as long as we do - and the book is about his whole life. Very feel-good story, but of course it is heartwreching to lose the family pet.
It a wonderful and true story of a dog, of course the ending is sad but it has so many wonderful thinags about it. It really hit me maybe b/c I do have a somewhat of a naughty lab. But it worth seeing I suggest reading the book first.
