We are expecting 90 degree temps here in MA for the next 4 days, and I am so excited. It's barely been hitting 70 here (50's over Memorial Day) so I am ready for some warmth!
We'll see if 4 days from now, after experiencing the heat 6 months pregnant, if I am still as happy about it, haha
Re: Ready for the heat in the Northeast?
See my "Your face looks swollen!" post below. My guess to the bolded is a big fat no!
That's a big fat no for me. It's been in the 90's for the last couple of days and I'm sick of summer already. Normally I love the heat but I hate the swelling and sweating while being pregnant.
I'm sure our electric bill will be insane because I've got the AC on 64 right now. Other than going to the pool, I don't plan to leave the house much during August.
Plus, today was the first time I've worn sunglasses in about a week and a half because it finally wasn't gloomy and pouring today. I don't expect that to hold out for long.
We're one and done!

I'm only wearing my wedding band today instead of both my band and e-ring. Last night I was so swollen that I had to run my hand under cold water to get them off. And it wasn't even that hot out yesterday!
At least I bought some cute maternity shorts last week so I can wear them this weekend.

I'm with you! When it's 90 outside, it can get close to 100 in my classroom. It's miserable. By the end of the day tomorrow, I'm not expecting any of my students to be willing to think. It might be a lights out, shades down, movie time day.

This is me too. I am still in all of my regular clothes and my feet don't swell, but I had to take off my e ring and just wear my wedding ring as it felt way too tight and I was worried they would get stuck. I have a friend who had to cut theirs off while pregnant because it got stuck. It doesn't feel at all uncomfortable on my hand but can barely get it on and off. How depressing.
I haven't been wearing either ring for at least a month now. My hands tend to swell at night & it's just not worth it. While pregnant with DD, I went to Walmart & got a really cheap set that looks like my actual set. This time around, I really don't care.

Yes, I have a blog and it's hilarious (except when it's not)
Weirdly, here in Northern California it has been cold, cloudy, and windy the past week. I had to get my jacket back out but now I can't zip it up!!
I take them off at night anyway, but during the day they swell. My e-ring is tighter than the band, which is why it's the first to go lol. I figure I'll get a chain and wear my wedding band as a necklace once I can't wear it anymore. I don't feel like buying a cheap band just to have one on.
