Drinking sodas?

Is it okay to drink sprite? Before I found out I was pregnant I drank a lot of Pepsi so I cut back on those and now I drink Sprite instead. I heard it's okay but not sure.

Sprite was one of the liquids my nurse suggested when I was having a hard time keeping things down. It doesn't have caffeine so that's one thing you don't have to worry about. It isn't necessarily GOOD for you, but can help keep you hydrated. As long as you don't go overboard too much sugar it should be fine.

I keep forgetting this stupid site deletes certain punctuation when I post from my phone. Too much sugar should be in parenthesis.

I mostly stick to water, but had a Mt Dew today it has 1/3 the caffeine as a cup of coffee so I don't feel bad. But it is a lot of sugar and I don't want the artificial sweeteners, soooo.....

I drank mostly water during my pregnancy but when I craved a soda I would drink either Sprite or Ginger Ale since they had no caffeine.  I drank the full sugar versions not diet since I didn't want artificial sweeteners.

It's fine.  It's a lot of empty calories, though, so I wouldn't go overboard.

I am leery of the High Fructose Corn Syrup in most sodas and avoid it completely. Sierra Mist is one of the only mass marketed ones to use real sugar and is also caffeine free.
