Hi Ladies!
I feel like it's been forever since I've jumped on this board and checked up on everyone. On Friday, I took a trip up north for my sister-in-law's college graduation. With DH off on his business trip, I was able to spend a lot of quality time with my in-laws (whom I love). For the past 18 months, I've been planning on getting pregnant prior to DH's lengthy trip and SIL's graduation. When I didn't, I was so disappointed, but now in hindsight, I'm so thankful! DD stayed with my mom (long days in the sun/parties/late dinners do not mesh well with a 3 year old) and had quality time with her, and I got to spend some time really enjoying myself and bonding with my inlaws, especially SIL, even more. I have known her since she was in 5th grade, so she really is a little sister to me.
I know it sounds so trivial, but I got to enjoy myself without worry since I know the chance of me getting preg this month is 0. I felt like I was back in college... except I had kids telling me I "looked good for being almost 30" (ha!) and am clearly married.
Maybe it seems selfish, but for the first time in a long time I was able to do something fun for myself and without worry. I would have never consumed so many glasses of wine in a weekend if I was actively TTC. I got to let my hair down and relax and it was such a great way to refresh and renew so that we can start again in a few weeks with Follistim + IUI.
I'm expecting AF to begin June 5th or shortly thereafter and am guessing IUI will take place somewhere between the 17th - 21st. Anybody else scheduled for around that time?

8/2013 - IUI #2: 50 units Follistim + Ovidrel = BFP! Beta #1 (12 dpiui) 8/21: 45 Beta #2 (16 dpiui) 8/26: 301 Beta #3 (21 dpiui) 8/30: 1,929. 1st Ultrasound 9/4 - One perfect sac. 2nd Ultrasound 9/13 - Heartbeat at 124 bpm!

I completely agree that after trying for so long it was nice to take some time off. We ended up on a forced break after DH had a few grand mall seizures.
I am expecting AF about the same time and am also hoping to try IUI in June.
Hoping we get to add to the BFP trend on this board soon.

10/2012 DH diagnosed with Epilepsy
A few failed IUIs summer 2012 and 2013.
DH taking clomid and waiting to see if he needs another vericocele repair.
Hoping for a 2015 baby or babies.

I'm so glad you were able to get away and enjoy yourself. That sounds great! We have an IUI tentatively scheduled for June, but it will be the 3rd (if it isn't cancelled), so a bit earlier in the month.

Me: 42. DH: 46.
1st Pregnancy: MC, 11/19/00.
2nd Pregnancy: DS born 04/10/06.
3rd Pregnancy: CP, 03/11.
4th Pregnancy: MMC, D&C 11/30/11, Genetic testing revealed Trisomy 4.
5th Pregnancy: Ectopic, 2 doses of Methotrexate unsuccessful, surgery 4/10/12, right tube removed.
Tried Letrozole January 2013-July 2013 (including 2 IUIs), all BFN. After 2 1/2 years of trying for child #2, decided to "give up" after July cycle, based on AMA.
August 16, 2013: BFP our first month of "not trying!" Still in shock. Beta #1 (14dpo): 183. Beta #2 (17dpo): 611. Ultrasound 8/30/13: baby measured 6 weeks, 1 day, heart rate of 118 bpm!
Ultrasound 9/13/13: 8 weeks, heart rate of 176!
Baby is due 4/26/14
