Anyone know if you can buy a book and have it "sent" to 2 different Kindles on the same account? DH's parents have Kindles and have found a book they both want to read.
I know you can share books but only if they are able to be shared, if that makes sense. Some publishers/authors won't let you "lend" books to other people.

Is there a way to know if it can be shared before you buy it? I'll have to look online for my ILs, they are able to purchase books and that's about it. Anything beyond that it above their heads!
You can have up to 6 kindle devices on your account and you can send your books to any/all of them. I read my books on my kindle, iphone app, and tablet app on a regular basis.
To send books to different devices you go to Manage Your Kindle and next to each book listed it gives you options (Actions button) on what you want to do. Click deliver to and select the device you want it to go to.
Also you can lend books to others (not on your account- friends ect) if the book is lendable (a lot aren't).
You scroll down to the product details and it will say if it's lendable.
I have 2 different kindles on my Amazon account and I can only send purchased books to one or the other. I think you can lend a book once it's on your kindle.
You should be able to send your books to any/all devices (up to 6) registered on your account.

No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
If the Kindles are linked to the same account, you can send it to one when you buy it but download it to the other afterwards. My Kindle Touch has access to our account's "cloud" so it's easy; I'm not sure if the regular Kindles work like that, but you can log into your account on Amazon and send to any of your Kindles from your digital content.
