Amazon subscriptions

Do any of you use the subscribe and send function on Amazon?

I just ordered some formula for DD that was a good deal, but do you find that most things are a good buy or not? What do you order?

Where we live, target and the grocery stores only stock the tiny cans of formula and it costs a fortune. Sigh.

Re: Amazon subscriptions

  • I do diapers, wipes, diaper pail liners and I will add a few other things here and there.  This month I have Happy Creamies (non-dairy fruit and vegetable melts) and seventh generation wipes.  I think it is a little cheaper than retail and if you do the 5 items you get a 20% discount.  I also like the convenience.

  • I order Huggies diapers and Diaper Genie refills. Make sure to scroll down before clicking "Subscribe" and look for a coupon to clip.

  • Not sure if you ladies already know but Amazon is currently having a promotion for their Amazon Mom program. New subscribers receive $20 off a select pack of diapers in addition to the subscribe & save 20% off that is offered. The offer is good until June 11 and is valid only on items sold by Amazon, third party items are not eligible.

  • We do pull-ups (did diapers), wipes, dishwasher detergent, water filter for our fridge, vitamins, and we used to get DH's protein powder but they took the subscribe and save feature away for it.

  • I was subscribing for my prenatal but it just went up 7 dollars from the last price I bought it at.  Wowsers.  I'll check back and see if it lowers again.  It's still $20 cheaper on amazon than if I went to Whole Foods.  They are ridiculous.

I also get our Earth's best diapers on their.  They come with 4 pack, so it lasts a while and it costs about the same as going to BRU and using a coupon every time.  ($40 for 4 packs)

  • I do diapers a lot. I also follow deal blogs to know about the bottom prices on other things. If I come across a good deal on toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, etc. I will use it.

Most of the time I cancel my subscription after it ships.

  • I did it for Charlie's soap.  When it went to send it the next time they charged about $5 more than anywhere else.(or maybe it was more than that??)  You need to watch that they don't up the price a lot when it comes up to send the next time.

  • We use it for our diapers and I've been meaning to add a few other things.  I love it!

  • Toilet paper, laundry detergent, snack foods. I order 5 things at a time and get the 20% discount, so it usually ends up being a better price than the store.
