I know it's possible to still have colostrum way beyond breastfeeding, but I'm a little weirded out that I've had it for the last couple of days when I haven't had any in the last 6 months. Anyone else notice this? I'm due for AF around nowish so I'm guessing it's just hormones playing around in my body. Just odd.
Re: Colostrum?
I can't speak for myself, but I know both my sisters had milk at random for about a year after they quit nursing. So, what you have may not be colostrum, but milk. And I do think it's possible to have it, even though you've not had any in a while.
ETA: either that or you're KU!
The color led me to believe it would be colostrum (sorry, TMI). I doubt that I'm pregnant, we use condoms and I can't remember the last time we did anything, as bad as that sounds... LOL
YES! Me!!! I noticed it the other day. Definitely Colostrum. I couldn't figure out why as I stopped BFing when DD was 10 months old...I wondered why I had it too...glad to know I'm not alone.
