Okay! You you ladies that are mobile, this is not baby related but omg I am so excited!!!
So! As some of you may have figured out of picked up on throughout some of my posts or comments. I am going through a custody battle and have been for going on three years now. Long story short the father was completely absent from my daughters life for a full year and didn't decide to come around or call until after I served him with divorce and custody papers. Well, and this is why I am excited, I recieved a text from him last night right as I was headed to bed saying that if I drop his child support, he owes over 1500 on that and 250 In attorney fees and that doesn't include his own personal debt and the half of DDs medical bills that DH and I paid off, he will give me full custody! So, of course I agreed because that's what I have been fighting for all along. I never wanted child support bc I feel if the parent wants to help, fine they can, if not , be gone and don't. So glad I listened to the attorney about getting him on child support so that he would give over custody once he got so far behind! I couldn't sleep last night after that and neither could DH. I am trying to calm down and remind myself, every 10 seconds, that I do not need to get excited until AFTER we have him sign the papers and agree in the final hearing! So hard!!!! It's almost done! So close! We are scheduled for Tuesday afternoon to meet at my lawyers office to sign the papers! I need and would appreciate any and all positive thoughts and prayers that you ladies have to spare!!! Thank goodness I have my baby shower to occupy me!
