Hello Ladies,

I'm new here and I've come here to look for some support. I set up a profile years back on The Knot, but I've come here now to look for support in my infertility journey/battle. I've read a couple of posts on this board and I understand there is an etiquette here, and I want to follow that. I've read the intro for this board and I want to set up my signature to summarize what I've been through and to be open for your support and advice.

So, what should I include? Is there a template? I am a very detailed oriented person so this would help me out a lot! Short version of my story is this: I'm currently 29 and a healthy weight (5'4 and 138lbs) started TTC January 1/11. Seeked medical attention from our GP January/2012. Referred to fertility clinic March 2012. Went through all initial tests and all came back normal (for me and DH). At follow up appointment was started on Clomid for 3 cycles (June, July and September 2012). All did not work. (We took a break for August because I was starting to feel discouraged). After August, specialist recommended next step as IUI or IVF. Dealt with depression like swings on and off since January 2012. Began acupuncture in April 2013, and heavily used this as prescribed during my May 2013 cycle...

Thanks for your help and support ladies. I have been at this for over 2 years now and it continues to surprise me just how heavily this weighs on my emotions. I'm getting to the point where I hesitate to bring up my feelings to my family and even sometimes to my extremely supportive husband. I hope to use this board to help me through this time.

It's up to you what to include but it's helpful if you list any diagnosis and what treatments you have done in the past. It just makes it easier if you're asking for advice, we wouldn't want to give the same advice for someone with PCOS to someone dealing with MFI. Check out my siggy if you want an example.

Welcome and I'm sorry you find yourself here. It is a terrific board and my emotions were running wild before I started engaging in this community. Of course, I still struggle to keep my emotions in check, but this board has been such an amazing outlet. Good luck setting up your siggy, and like the PP mentioned, I'd suggest looking at other siggies to come up with the format you like best.

Welcome! I am really glad you found us. I have been an active poster since January and could not ask for better supportive women! They have helped me through so many hard IF days and even through days of extreme joy because a new step in the journey started!
