Afm: just laying here listening to dh snore. I should be trying to sleep since I didn't sleep well last night. But instead I have found my hidden stash of chocolate and I am eating it while dh sleeps.

Hey! Can't argue with Doctor's Orders! Glad it's not a chronic thing. I have lower back pain and am curious how it will effect me when I get KU.

I worked 10.5 hours today between my new and old jobs. I completed two modules for my CNA class, and I am about to do a water change on my fish tank, get some leftovers and a beer and then crash for the night.

What kind of facility do you plan on "CNAing" at?

Well, I may find a part time position at an elder care facility after I have my CNA 1 in July. I plan on getting my CNA 2 as soon as possible and hopefully, if the cards align, I will end up working at the same hospital my DH does, but working a different department.

I work at an elder facility and I just want to say thank you for being a CNA. It takes a special person.

It's funny in a way because I used to be a caregiver in a group home where I had MORE responsibility (I was delegated multiple tasks), and as a CNA 1 I can't do all the tasks until I get my CNA 2 and CMA. It goes with being certified I suppose. The nice thing is that I have had all the exposure to everything my classmates haven't, and so I just keep reassuring them that their first couple of exposures might be tough, but it's not bad at all.

Yeah. There are so many things you learn when you actually start your job.
