T and P Please

What a day! I started feeling short of.breath and heart was racing while at work this morning. I am a nurse and work in the same building as my OB so went to see them. OB ended up sending me via ambulance to LD for workup. I spent 8 hrs in triage chest xray, EKG, doppler of legs, PIH panel, you name it. I was also contracting regularly but cervix is closed so that's the good part. So far the only thing they have found is low platelets 100. I'm being kept overnight for observation and will have labs redone in the AM. Hoping this will pass but still have trouble taking deep breath. Starting to wonder if its just too much babies/positions. Measuring almost 40 weeks at 28 and 2 days.

If you made it through all that, thank you! Any of you experience this??

That sounds like a whirlwind!

I had a hard time breathing pretty early on, because the babies took up so much space. But it wasn't really something that came on quickly. Hang in there!

Thinking of you! I had issues breathing but it has gotten better oddly enough and I am 34 weeks today. Hang in there and God bless you during this wary time.

I randomly had tons of trouble breathing and then during an ultrasound they found one of the babies shoving himself almost completely under my rib cage. Hang in there, also I started measuring 40 weeks around 24-26 so that isn't a big deal. Also the pressure can cause your heart rate to go up because of added stress or something like that, I don't remember how the doctor explained it.
