BRU "Sale" Rant

So on BRU.com today, they have a promotion: 15 off ANY regular price item....emphasis on "any". OK, sounds good. But I'm a little skeptical. It's BRU, of course they'll have a bunch of restrictions, right?

Well this one takes the cake. Here's a list of things you CAN'T buy using the code:
Anything currently on sale or clearance
Diapers/wipes
Baby food/Formula
The usual name brands: Ameda, Bugaboo, Medela, Britax, etc.
Strollers
Car seats
High chairs
Swings/Bouncers
Infant carriers
Bassinets/PnP's
"Entertainers"
Electronic toys
LEGO's

So, um....what exactly CAN I get with this coupon? Blankets? Nope, all bedding is 25 percent off. A bathtub? Wrong again: sale on tubs and bathing accessories. Clothing and bibs, I guess. Forgive me if I'm not beating down the door to order an 8 buck onesie for 6.80.

Is it just me, or does this company have some of the most useless promotions ever?

    I loathe BRU. Can not stand the store at all. I used to live near Buy Buy baby and loved them! I much rather use Amazon Prime and wait than go to BRU.

    Man, the closest BBB to me is about 30 minutes away. I keep hearing such great things about it.

    I know BRU goes a little nuts with the restrictions, but....wow. You literally can't buy ANYTHING with that code.

    And it always seems to be the same restrictions each time!! I completely agree!!! I actually am wanting to buy the avent breast pump and I believe I have a 20 coupon that I can use... But I am sure I am missing it somewhere!!!

    I wonder what am employee would say if you brought the coupon in and asked them that question. Bet they'd be pressed to find something worth using the code on!

    The best thing BRU does is their pouch sales... 10 for 10 dollars when pouches are usually 1.99 each... Those and Heidi Klum's line of kids clothes are the only things I buy there.

    I despise babies r us. Though I do keep shopping there--- it's the only game in town. But seriously-- I had that same coupon. Practically useless. I did buy my partner a boyish diaper bag with it (and I'm giving it to him for his birthday---'cause I'm a sucky wife)

    UGH! I'd rather eat my own head than shop at BRU; horrible, ghetto store, no one knows a thing about the products they're trying to sell and their sales are all lies.  I shop buybuybaby and amazon instead.
