So I'm at a total loss for hair solutions for my DD. She is finally getting some hair, and it's totally unruly! As soon as I put a hair clip in, she quickly takes it out and then hands it right back to me, as if she's telling me to stuff it. She doesn't stay still for long, so I'm worried about trying anything more time consuming than sticking a clip in her hair, but I'm desperate because I feel like it's in her face and starting to annoy her. I'm totally not ready to cut it yet, so does anyone have any good solutions/suggestions? Just suck it up until it grows more? TIA!
Re: hair solutions for DDs
We are struggling with DD's hair too! Its somewhat wavy/curly, so its just a big frizzball right now. After a nap its an absolute disaster! We usually do a partial ponytail on top (like Pebbles from the Flinstones). That helps somewhat. I also just bought a detangler spray (Johnson and Johnson kids version) and have tried spraying that in it when it gets bad. It dampens it enough and seems to help condition it so its not quite so bad. You could try that too. DD pulls out all barrettes and headbands. We use the silicon rubberbands for the Pebbles look and then put a cuter rubberband on top of that. That's the only thing she can't seem to pull out yet.
