Hi ladies! I'm thinking of leasing a new car, but am worried about the damage that kids car seats can cause to the actual car seats. Does anyone have experience leasing a car and putting kids car seats in it? Did you end up owing any excessive wear charges at the end of your lease? Are leather or cloth seats better for this?
Re: NWMR: Car seats and car leasing
leather seats are easier to clean.
My car seats do not cause any damage to my vehicle. My last three cars have been leased and I haven't owed any money when turning them into the dealer. They go by the 'credit card' rule. If it can't be fixed with a credit card than you may owe for damage. Dings, small dents, small tears are considered under the 'credit card' umbrella.
I just love your siggy!
