Getting worse before better?

Hi all,

Been a rough couple weeks: After thriving really well for awhile there (still having the vomitting sessions but getting used to it) and only days after getting her feeding goal taken off by speech in a very awesome happy mom/SLP moment...DD has not done so well.

Increase in vomitting, swallowing only some of her food and thinking she has to the point of choking, the Himlech being done at daycare (back and front thrusts) leading to vomitting of course, a very large increase in frequency of vomitting the past 2-3 weeks,increased staring spells, along with DD being very tired and tiring what seems to be more easily in that time frame as well. I am very WTF, but feel like it may be the potential mito screaming "it's not potential it IS" at me.

Anyone with any of their LO's health issues go through a getting worse phase? Emotinoally it is tough, physically it is tough, hard to watch (especially as a party of one). Her scope/pH probe is coming up in a couple weeks and I need to call her ped to let her know the above and have her get us an overnight stay visit reason for appoval - with maybe a push for testing sooner than scheduled on other stuff.

Advice, encouragment?

    How old is she?  My DD went through a regression (muscle control) when she was teething and her PT said that it is very common to see.  I would assume that regression then would be common with anything new/temporary (like teething/sickness) since their body is working on dealing with something else that is not normal.

    She is teething and recently went through a height growth spirt - I do remember OT saying how it affects her spacially so I guess that would make sense with both motor and oral. I also don't know if EE gets any worse before getting treated (per her scope) - and I thought maybe if she does have that her rings maybe getting bigger/esophagus getting smaller.
