Didn't know where to post...clothing question.

I don't post here, and don't mean to intrude but didn't know where else I could ask this and (perhaps) get a good answer!

 I'm a momma to two lovely step children and my LO.  Photography is a hobby of mine and I really want to take some photos of my step daughter and daughter in matching outfits.  Step daughter is 13 and LO is 9 months.  I can only find matching outfits in women and baby sizes or girl and doll sizes.  Neither which will work for us.  I need a outfit in kids size 12 and 9 months for the baby.  I've tried etsy...any thoughts would be appreciated!

    Have you tried Justice and Justice TOO. Same store pretty much but for older and younger. They may not have the exact same things but I'm sure they are pretty similar.

    Instead of matching, go for coordinating.  Matching will bring the 13yos clothes down to the baby's level.

    But if you really really really want to do it, I would suggest making something that will bring the baby's outfit up to the 13yo's level.

    Have them wear blue jean-skirts and then buy white t-shirts.  

    Then you can either iron on appliqu? or paint or use sharpee marker a 13 yo approved picture/design.  

    And the best part, you can do the decoration part together and create a memory too.

    A 13 year old will make your life hell, if you make her and her baby sister wear the exact outfit. Coordinate.

    Hanna Anderson has tons of coordinating outfits. Not all match exactly, but really exact matched don't look great in photographs.

    Another option is Ralph Lauren. I just checked their site and they have quite a few options that match. Or you can go basic with their collared dresses. They have those in every color.

    Are you going for a specific look? Preppy? Bohemian? Classic?

    Honestly coordinating outfits are much better than matching outfits. It lets each kid be individuals while still allowing for a fabulous looking photo. Typically, I find one outfit for one of the kids and then base the others off of that.

    Thanks for all the tips ladies!  It's funny because the 13 year old wants the matching look.  I think she thinks my little Audrey is her doll in the sweetest way possible.  I agree though, coordinating will be better than matching for the photographs.

    Coordinate and do not match. Actually a good photographer will always recommend coordinating outfits instead of matching. I would try Gap or Old Navy n

    Kelly's Kids is expensive, but they have "family" outfits.

    Also, how about putting them in clothes that coordinate, but aren't matchy-matchy?  Pink shirts and jeans, for example? 

    I have a boy and a girl.  I dress them in some sort of red,white, and blue combo every time we get photos for Father's Day.  Usually DS has a plain red polo shirt and jeans, and DD wears a red patterned shirt and jeans.  It looks cute and not too forced.

    Zara kids, my ultra petite SIL wears them all the time coordinated with her daughter.
