5 month old ds grunting & groaning

My 5 month old son has started grunting & groaning over the past week or so. He's ebf and has been having regular bm's. Sometimes when he groans he passes gas or spits afterward, but not always. He never appears to be in pain & doesn't cry when he groans. Is this just him learning a new noise? Has anyone else experienced this?

    My 5 month old does it too.It doesn't seem like she has gas or is pain so I'm hoping she's just learning a new sound

    My almost 5 month old has been doing this for awhile now. She seems to do it mainly when she seems "frustrated" and wants to lay down or sit up.
