First Birthday/Cake Smash Photos

I just got them taken today and I wish I could see them all right now! DS dug right into the cake and got SO messy. He even started painting his arm with the icing(lol). The photographer said that was the messiest she had ever seen a baby get lol.

    Aww I'm jealous. DS was so neat and cautious when we did ours this past Sunday. He picked little pieces of frosting and slowly locked his fingers. Haha...no "smashing" at all!

    you did a good job! I didn't even think of it. DS turns 1 on Sunday! I need to get started on all this.

    You did that yourself?! Jealous! We just let DD go to town on a cupcake in her high chair and took pics of that. I guess I'm not a cool mom lol 



    I wasn't going to bother and then I said to DH, "Did you know people do "smash cakes" and have pictures taken?" Just as a comment. He loved the idea. DH is a hobby photographer and we're doing it tomorrow afternoon!

    Drbeth, I can't believe your LO will be one on Sunday! I remember your belly pics! Is that creepy? Ha!
