Repost from TTCAL femara cycle no mature follicles ?

Siggy warning also back story been successful twice with this exact protocal one healthy pg one loss. My RE is over four hours away so my obgyn agreed to do all the monitoring this cycle with the exact same protocal so I didn't have to so the traveling. First cycle post loss info and question below:

Morning guys,

Went in this am for cd 12 u/s monitoring. Been taking femara cd 37. Had 4 folicles but al very small 68mm not nearly at all mature. Never had this happen. This is my first cycle TTCAL and my obgyn had agreed to monitor it since we had found a protocal that had worked twice. He wants me to come back Friday just to see if anything has grown but looks like this cycle may be a bust. Has anyone had this happen before and what can cause it?

    Hey Caroeliz, I post sometimes on TTCAL so I recognize you.  If this is your first cycle after your loss, your body could still be wonky.  If you took a few cycles off and this is actually first *treatment* cycle after loss, then I really don't have an answer for you.  

    I will say that my first cycle after my c/p was only 23 days. Wha??  So I know it does take your body awhile to get back to it's rhythm and I'd chalk it up to that. I do hope that it's just taking a little longer, and when you go in tomorrow you'll see some growth spurt in your follies.  Good luck.

    We did a TTA cycle on BCP and u started the femara on day 3 of the BCP induced period. So disappointed in today : but we are looking at potentially having to have open heart surgery for my FIL so maybe everything is slowed down so that it would happen when DH is able to be home and not in Atlanta with his dad. That's te only positive i have.
