Does LO still use a pacifier?
Do you have rules on when it can be used?
Any plans on when to take it away?
DS still has his at 17 months. It just wasn't a battle I was ready to pick yet but I'm starting to get pretty sick of the darn things. He is VERY attached though so I'm not looking forward to the process of taking it away. I'm also trying to be conscious that we'll have another little one in 6 and a half months and I don't want him stealing his or her paci.
Re: Pacifier
We just got rid of the pacifier over this past weekend. She used it for bedtime and naps only (it had been that way since 5ish months). She hasn't used it for naps at daycare since she turned 1.
I tried to take it away a couple of months ago and that was an epic failure. This time around, she cried for 45 minutes on Friday night, looking for it and hasn't made a peep about it since. I'm still a little shocked it was so easy this time.

I used to only let DS have his for nap/bedtime. But now I also let him have it for car rides. Especially after picking him up from daycare. He's just so damn cranky lately being in his car seat that I have given in because his screaming in the car rattles me.
I definitely want him to be completely done with it by 2.

Josephine still has hers. She gets it at naps and bedtime, long car rides, and if she's having a serious fit over something.
She doesn't have a stuffy or blankie that she is particularly attached to, so I don't want to take it away from her yet. She has enough changes coming up with Parker coming in just 48 days, she just went to her big girl room (even if she is still in the crib) and I need sleep
We'll work on it slowly while I'm off.
