Seriously? Trolls on a TTC Message Board? I am disgusted by the amount of full on, disrespectful, straight forward rudeness on, specifically,a TTC message board! I, like many others, have post on and read through the TTC boards for support and guidance.

The amount of rude and condescending responses to many the calls for support or previous experiences are astounding. If you have had ANY successful conceptions and/or births, congratulations! However, knowing that joy, how could any of you insult or belittle ANYONE that has encountered difficulty or struggled to conceive?

Shame on you, any of you that chastise "Newbies" for not knowing the vast array acronyms or correct message board terminology.

I sought out these boards and this website for information, experience and, yes support. A novel concept, I now realize. Silly me to think a forum of women having trouble trying to conceive would be free of judgements and insults!

I have read a few posts that made me really not want to post on the TTC board. Who's to say that length of your struggle is what makes it important? I thought this was suppose to be a safe place to find support but I guess if you don't fit into someone's specific "criteria" they can call you stupid and belittle you. Shame!

I am not misinformed, and I did read some nastiness on a couple of forums. They were not posting about something as ridiculous as what you stated, but instead were slammed bc they might not have been trying as long as others. All I am saying is that we should be here for each other. I am sorry you are misinformed about my apparent "misinformation"

Were they "slammed" for posting on this particular board after trying for less than a year if under 35/ 6 months if over 35/ an infertility diagnosis? Because then they definitely would have been correctly redirected to the Trying to Get Pregnant Board.

This is the most confusing post. Are people venting about the TTC Board or this one? And I don't see what the post has to do with trolls...or maybe I don't get the definition of a troll, yet.

I know the TTC board tends to be more snarky at times, but doesn't seem too crazy...it can just be intimidating if you're brand new and aren't used to the questions and topics normally discussed. And we just direct people to the TTC board if it hasn't been 12 months...I don't see how that's so outrageous, since it's one of the community guidelines included in the links at the top of the board (not like everyone reads it, though).

This poster makes no sense what so ever. If you look at her seven posts she's made...back in Dec 2009 she's saying she's taking clomid. Then earlier this month, she asks TTGP if her OB is jumping the gun sending her to an RE after just one wonky cycle of several positive OPKs. Now this random scolding with no apparent reason behind it?

So was she TTC back in '09 with an RE after a year of trying? Did they break for several years and then get back into it but have no Dx so go back to OB? Makes.No.Sense. I'm calling it. It's an AE troll.
