  I love Clara and I pronounce it like Klah-ruh. I've always liked Clara Marie (a family name for me). Clara Louise is kind of pretty too.

  One of my girls is named Clara. We pronounce it Claire-uh. No one ever has trouble pronouncing it. Obviously I LOVE the name.

  As a generic American I pronounce it Klair-ah, but if I knew the person had a Spanish or Italian or Hispanic background I wouldn't be surprised it hear it pronounced Klah-rah.

  I like Clara Jane. Clara is one of my top names right now too. I like both ways of saying it, but I'd probably use Clair-uh myself..
