Hair salon

So my hairdresser has like a month long waiting list for appointments and she's not even a senior stylist. She's great I love her and love what she does but it's really hard when I SAH and have no one who can watch DS to keep and make an appointment. Now I'm frustrated because I really want my haircut and I finally found a sitter I like and she went and signed up for summer school. Now I have to wait another month grr. Sorry no point to post!

    Follow up would it be horrible to bring DS? It would just be a cut I'd wait to find another time for highlights.

    I'd bring dc.  I have done that before w dd and everyone fawns over her and does not mind.

    Can somebody else cut your hair? I think I may be the minority here, but I don't really care who cuts my hair. I've never had somebody who I would see exclusively. Anyhow, maybe it's worth looking into, as it seems this chick's schedule is going to be tight for the foreseeable future.

    I'm a SAHM, too. This is one of the reasons that my hair is a hot mess right now. I never know when I'll be childfree to get to an appointment. Are there any days of the week that the salon is open later? I know mine will stay open late on Thursdays to accommodate people who can't take off during the work day. Would that make it easier for you to find someone to watch your son?


    They do stay open late til like 9pm which is great, of course my stylist is the one who doesn't work nights... And I would just go on the weekends when DH is home but I work weekends right now. Ugh.

    Yea I think you have a point. I went to another place before her and it was horrible not only did I hate my cut but it was double the price. So I hate to leave this girl because I love what she does and she's reasonable. But I guess that doesn't matter if I can't ever get in the dang place
