The main difference is that the portion is a little bigger and there are combinations and more choices. It may be a little thicker but not noticeably so.
Yes, stage 2 has larger chunks of food in it, as opposed to puree. I tried a jar of pears and green beans, and there were actual chunks of green beans in it. I was afraid LO would choke, so I'm sticking with stage 1 for right now.

No, not really. Some of the ones that have meat seem a bit thicker, but the regular veggies and fruit combos are about the same.
