Trouble TTC

AF question

I usually have a 29 cycle I have counted 29 day cycle for past four months. 29th day in my cycle will be on 6/7. So AF is supposed to show up on 6/8. So I would be at 10dpIUI on 6/7 is that normal to have such a short time. I was thinking tww would be 14 days but it seems like I ovulate late in my cycle. Docotor told me I would know by 6/13 that seems like I would know late if AF is to show up 6/8. Can clomid make my cycle longer than 29 days? I have taken clomid before and still was only at 29 day cycle. This is my first cycle on clomid that ended with an IUI and not cancelled.

Any advice will help I just feel confused on what I should start testing.

(cant believe that I am already worried about this on the day of my IUI this tww is going to be something awful.)

Re: AF question

  • Clomid can make you ovulate earlier or later than you would when not on Clomid.  I would not necessarily expect your cycle to be the same length as it was before.

  • On clomid I still O'd around CD#15, but it lengthened my LP, and therefore lengthened my cycle. My normally 28D cycle became 31-32 days.

Are you taking progesterone as well?

My Beta was last Monday (AF was supposed to show on Sunday)

AF just came this past Saturday making her 6 days late (making it a 35 day cycle)...what a pain she is!

I'm on Clomid and Progesterone and they both make your cycle wonky. It's perfectly normal to have a longer LP while on these meds.

Hang in there! FX for you!

I took progesteron for 10 days and then I start my period 5 days after I stop. I am not on any meds right now, docotor didnt feel like I needed it.

I had a Clomid cycle before but when IUI was cancelled i was given the progesterone and my cycle would always start. That would make sense as to why my cycles were still only 29 days. This is the first cycle of clomid that I have reached the IUI.

Thank you everyone for your response makes me feel a lot better about it.
