Still a Nov Mommie!!!

Had my second OB appt today and the Doctor put me back to my original due date which is Nov. 28th So I am still a Nov. mommie!! Of course my brother in law had to comment that I was due to deliver during hunting season but my niece was happy because she will be home from college for break so if I go into labor that week she will be around. We have so much to be thankful for this holiday season.

Now on to the not so great news. When they did my pap smear some cells came back abnormal. The doctor said it was NOT cancer but she wants to keep an eye on it. So I have to have more testing at my next appt. on June 28th. She does another test 6 weeks before my due date. She did not seem worried but I can not help but have some sense of worry when something is abnormal. My sister just had to have a hysterectomy due to pre cancer cells that kept coming back. They kept coming back more aggressively and further up her cervix so her best option was to have a hysterectomy. Just asking for prayers that all continues to go well and these cells do not develop into something more.

    Glad to hear you are still with us :D
    And about the cancer, try not to stress to much. I'm sure the doctors will do whatever to protect the baby and yourself!

    My mother in law had cancer with her 4th child and that's how she found out she was pregnant. It's a crazy story but she had cancer all through her pregnancy and they are both fine and no cancer. She was a fighter and so was the baby. The baby who is now a teenager will be 15 in November! Haha November baby! She's a strong independent young lady!

    The doctors also told her she wouldn't have any more children after her third child and got pregnant with her and found the cancer. After her they said, no more kids after that.. 8 years later she got pregnant again with her 5th child! They are all healthy kids! Gotta Love my in laws!

    Congratulations. Like someone else said, try not to stress. First off, it's not good for you or the baby. Secondly, I had abnormal results often and they just redid tests, biopsies and such and now, everything is cleared up and I am good to go. I know it's easier said than done, but try not to worry. At least your doctor was able to confirm that it's NOT cancer, but I can understand your worry with your family history. I'm sure everything will turn out fine. Here's to a H&h 9 months!

    I also got abnormal results for a Pap smear I had at 10 weeks. My doctor told me it will most likely clear up when the baby is born. I will have another pap and biopsy 6 weeks postpartum. My doctor did not seem concerned at all.
