How are you all doing w bathtime? Unless I get in there w her, LO won't sit down in the tub and wants to get out. Anyone btdt, and how'd you get lo over it? My older dd always loved bathtime so this is a new problem for me.
Also, she won't look up for hair rincing, so the tear free cup I bought is useless... Water always gets in her eyes. Any tips?

I can't help with how to get your lo to love baths, because thankfully Parker does. He'll only try to stand if he's really tired and ready to sleep, otherwise he'll sit and play.
as for getting soap out of his hair, I just keep wiping it out with the wash cloth, or I ring the wash cloth out over his head and quickly catch the water before it goes down his face.

Bathtime with my daughter is like a wrestling match. She moves around the tub like crazy and it is super slippery, so she's fallen a few more times than I'd like despite the fact that I am right there (almost always with a hand on her too). We started bathing the kids together, but I can't handle them both on their own. I just chase her around the tub and get it done as fast as possible. Although she'd happily stay in there forever, since she loves the water.
As for rinsing hair, before DS was born I read somewhere that if you blow on their face it triggers a response where they take a deep breath and hold their breath. I have done this with both of my kids and now they just hold their breath after I count to three (or say ready, set, go).
Also, not much help with the tub situation. I still use the little tub and he doesn't have an issue with it. He does try to stand and climb out sometimes but I can usually distract him long enough to finish up bathtime.
It wasn't as easy as it sounds. We definitely had to get him used to everything and we would slowly get him used to it. Now he bends down and sticks his face in the water!
I did have my older dd in swim lessons, so maybe that made a difference w her. Who knows... Glad to see I am not alone!
