Update to spotting from last night...And HUGE surprise.

My doctor fit me in to see me this morning, straight to the u/s room we went.
The bleeding is "normal", and I will probably continue to bleed some since I am pregnant with TWINS.
It's still too early to know if both will be viable. They're both growing, one has a HB and one doesn't. My doctor said that the one with a HB probably just got it with in the last 24 hours so right now it's not shocking that the other one doesn't. Twins don't develop exactly the same rates.
I go back next week for another ultrasound to see how the other twin is developing. He says they do appear to be identical, so if the other twin does continue to develop there'll be concern about if they share a sac of waters, and twin-to-twin syndrome.
I will know for sure next week if the second baby is developing.
What a freaking month this has turned out to be. IUD pregnancy, to no IUD in the ute, to twins. CRAZY.

No holding back? I'm pretty much freaking out. I am a single mother of two young kids. My boyfriend and I weren't expecting this to happen (again, with the IUD thing). I wasn't sure I wanted more kids. I will be sad if anything happens to these babies...but it's super overwhelming. My SO and I aren't really at the marriage point...and the idea that we may not work out (since I know from experience even marriage doesn't make things work out)...I could be the single mother of 4 under 5. That's a lot to take in. I'm trying to just take it moment by moment. There's still so much unknown, and I would hate to for anything bad to happen. It's just...a lot.

Frankly, just reading this, it sounds like you couldn't be handling it any better. What a mature and reasonable reaction. I have to give you a lot of credit for your strength and honesty. It sounds like you aren't rushing into any rash decisions and are making smart choices, which makes you an ideal mom

Wow lady - you are one strong chick. I feel like "just breath" would be a great motto for you. Hang in there - you're amazing!
