DIY before and after PIP

I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend!  I spent mine being a busy bee trying to finish our master bedroom floor remodel.  Unfortunately, we didn't get enough done to be able to move back into our room, but I am enjoying the guest experience of my own house.

    That looks amazing! I never understood carpeting. Hard wood looks so much nicer. Good job!

    We can't stand carpet either, this is the last of the carpet to go in our house and the amount of dust that I swept up below the carpet disgusted me.  DH has horrible allergies that always seemed worse in the morning.  Even with an air purifier, he never seemed to get a break.  I am hoping that by removing the carpet the air quality is vastly improved.

    Oh geez... that was like three years ago LOL.  It was Velspar from Lowes and in the green family (which is odd because it is more blue/gray then green).  I can look for the can when I get home.
